As the first in my food processor, I used tumbler'ow (this is the English name of these shapes, hmmm, I wonder emesa how to translate, I would say that it trapezoids, but it's more glass tumbler emesa whiskey: P):
I cut hundreds of tumbler shapes in about 2 hours. It took this long because I had to prepare the strips of fabric to put on the die. I used batiks which I had left after making an art quilt (that's the secret thing, emesa I will not show it until the quilt show in February, 2012, if it will be taken there of course ;)) and some brownish fabric from my stash, which was not used for ages. I decided to make a quilt for my parents for anniversary (they like Autumn colors).
In about two hours I managed to cut a few hundred tumbler'ow. And it was still quite slow, because I chose materials, emesa trimmed striped teeth fit the mold, etc. I used a batik that have been me after quilcie who is preparing for an exhibition and brown, which for centuries were lying unused emesa in the closet. I decided to do a quilt for parents on anniversaries, and they like to autumn colors. emesa In this photograph you can see how well it looks the matrix. emesa It is gray sponge, and these grooves is a knife (?), Cutter (?). So how you cut metal molds for gingerbread cake, so here is cut in August of material :)
Now I have some rows of tumblers sewn together but I did not finish yet. I will update you with my Autumn quilt :) already sewn several rows Quilt, but still a lot I been ... By November I have time ;)

Razor already seen on the internet. It's amazing! It is certainly very helpful when sewing large amounts of items! Because it is cutting thousands of bones .... Brrrr! Very nicely onto your keg! Great dobrałaś kolorki! It will be a great quilt! Reply Delete
And yet I'm sorry, but I wanted to know how much fabric goes for leftovers? When I saw trójkącikach nicely covered the entire surface cuts. But what it looks like on other shapes? Because ... I admit frankly, but I cruel mania of collecting ALL wycineczków and skraweczków fabrics! All that "supposedly" unnecessary always land in a huge cardboard box! Because that anything can come in handy! Because every square inch is at a premium ... Reply Delete
I admired emesa the razor on foreign blogs, guessing emesa at the moment "as they are". Thanks for your presentation everything you know and cruelly zazdraszczam the razor, because extremely speeds up the work and gives a lot of room to maneuver. I wonder when they will be available in our country (and at what price!)! emesa : D Reply Delete
